So I was looking into the character Looker from Pokémon right? Just getting the basics of his information down for a project when I look at his Japanese name. I always thought the westernized version of his name, Looker, was a play on the fact he's a ya'know, detective. I was very wrong. His Japanese name, when translated into English is literally, HANDSOME. He isn't called Looker cause he's a detective, he's called Looker because he's apparently A LOOKER. Jesus HP Lovecraft am I dumbfounded.
